Clifford Compass House – Safe Haven for Teen Boys
Serve boys ages 14-17, offer temporary shelter to runaway youth, youth at risk of running away, AND can offer respite to families.
Staff is trained in trauma informed care and crisis intervention, we also have a family support worker who works directly with the families to provide referrals and any necessary counseling.
We have staff at the house 24/7 and can accept drop-in’s from 6a-9p. Any time after 9p, we ask that a professional accompany the youth to the house. The address for the house is 1316 3rd St. SE Canton, OH 44707.
The house number is 330.936.8901, youth can call OR text this number at any time. Professional referrals and inquiries can be directed to this number as well. Staff can come meet with any boys during school hours if needed.
Reed Funeral Home is running a Summer “Good Grief” Camp for students age 6 – 12 years old. This experience is intended for kids who have lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, close relative or friend. Aultman Grief Services – Teen Support Group – A group for teens who are grieving the loss of a parent, sibling, friend, grandparent or any loved one.
